    Butterfly Garden

    The children have been learning all about Butterflies. We bought a Butterfly Garden and learned all about the lifecycle of the Butterfly. The most exciting part was when we released them in the garden. Please click on the below gallery for some images.

    Where has the summer gone

    We’re all fed up with this weather. I want to be going out to places like Coombe Abbey but bit’s so miserable. Still, plenty of things to do indoors and playgoups. Also looking forward to my holiday!!!

    Fun In The Sun

    We are all enjoying this lovely weather. We have the paddling pool and sprinklers out and the children are really making the most of it.

    Saxon Fields Farm

    Off to Saxon Fields Farm with fellow childminder Juliet Crang and the children to play in the sun. Bouncy Castles, ride on toys, huge sand pit and lots of animals to see. Better make the most of it while it lasts!!

    Blooms Garden Centre

    Had a lovely morning with other registered childminders at Blooms Garden Centre. Soft Play area excellent for developing children’s physical skills and just great fun to be had by all!

    St Georges Day

    Had a great day yesterday, celebrating St Georges Day in Rugby. St George visited on his steed. The children had had their faces painted and they enjoyed painting dragons and flags.

Home

I am Rugby Childminder Maria Taylor and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder in Rugby, Warwickshire. I was graded as being ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in both 2007 and 2011. I have been childminding since 2003.

I am also an Accredited Childminder, of which there are very few in Rugby. This enables me to offer 15 hours per week of free home based early years education for 3 to 5 year olds for 38 weeks of the year, thereby significantly reducing your childcare costs. This is also available for 2 year olds under curtain circumstances.

I aim to work together in partnership with parents to provide all children in my care with a clean, safe, loving, home from home environment where everyone feels valued.  I always aim to provide a quality, caring and loving environment where standards are high, independence can be developed and where there are a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible, to help children to achieve their goals and promote their self esteem.

I am situated approximately one mile from junction 1 of the M6, in the Boughton Vale area of Rugby. For my address, telephone numbers, map and contact details, please see my contact page.

My normal opening times are from 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, but flexibility is possible, depending upon the circumstances.

I also provide a babysitting service for children in my care.
